The access to the islands of Hydra and Spetses is very easy and straightforward. In order to go to Spetses you can pass from Costa with the traditional boat or water taxi. There is also a ferry boat, but remember that in Spetses automobile traffic is prohibited (only motorcycles are allowed).
To Hydra, you may arrive either by taxi boat or hydrofoil. The distances are small and you should not hesitate to make these excursions if your time permits.
By car you can also browse Hermione, Koilada and other traditional villages.

In our area, there is a modern public health center as well as private doctors, pharmacies, several supermarkets, school for skiing, sailing & diving and of course countless choices for cafe/bars and taverns/restaurants.
